This recipe is inspired by the beautiful Katie Lee from Food Network. Her recipe has a little more fat content, and has a sweet and savory element. My version is savory with a lemon herb compound butter. It'll make your mouth water y'all.

And the croutons that are slow baked in the bacon fat... Lawd. Have. Mercy. They're like little crunchy bacon crouton presents for your tastebuds, because let's be honest. Bacon makes everything better.

COMPOUND BUTTER
My recipe for the compound butter is about double of what you actually need for the turkey breast. It's so good, you'll want the extra to slather over fluffy rolls, or a crusty slice of bread. You're gonna love me for this compound butter, y'all. So good.

Here is a simple, delicious and healthy recipe for your dinner table. The natural sugars in the potatoes caramelize into sugary goodness. It's a winning dish.

When you get married, there will be at least one dish that will always be your mother-in-law's. Your husband will always love it, and she will forever be the only one who can make it correctly. For our family, that dish is my mother-in-love, Chris', shrimp hors d'oeuvres, and oh my goodness we can't get enough of them. We scarf these babies down as fast as she can make them. So good.

And you have to know that Chris is not only my mother-in-love, but she's also one of my best friends.  I hit the mother-in-law lottery. She raise a pretty amazing son, too.

Here's how she makes them...

This is my go to Thanksgiving stuffing recipe. Now I realize that people have very strong opinions on stuffing and dressing, but this is my favorite. I like it to be chunky, not mushy, so I can tell what all of the elements are in the dish. And I want it to be savory, so there's no fruit here. No raisins, or apples, or dried cherries. Just savory sausage, toasty bread, beefy mushrooms, and lots of deliciousness.

For a delicious vegetarian version of this stuffing...

• use vegetable stock instead of chicken or turkey stock
• replace the pork sausage with another 8 oz container of mushrooms 

I like to use a colorful mix of purple potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts & fennel, but you can use any combination you like.

Growing up my mamma always made sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving. It was one of my favorite things on the table.

​Now that I have a family of my own, I make sure I always have sweet potato casserole on the table too... just like mamma. 

My recipe is different from hers, but it's made with all the love that she put into hers.

Thanksgiving is such an indulgent holiday, we try to keep most of the menu items pretty "clean" and simple, but still full of delicious flavor.  My roasted sweet potatoes are a delicious and healthy side dish for your Thanksgiving table.

My mother-in-law, Chris, makes homemade cranberry sauce for our family every year. It's one of those made-with-love dishes that makes its way onto our Thanksgiving table year after year. 

I can't mention Chris, without my heart bursting with pride at how I won the mother-in-law lottery. Seriously, y'all. Like, yoga on the beach, laugh til we cry, coolest mother-in-law ever. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever met. She loves me unconditionally, is always supportive, my favorite wine drinking partner, and is truly one of my best friends.
