Not even COVID-19 can stop the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. The team at Disney really did a great job.

  • The park was only open to 25% capacity
  • Everyone was required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose or they could be asked to leave the park
  • There were markers as to where people should stand in all of the lines.

The weather was lovely, I felt safe, the food was delicious, and we had a great time.

Here are some of my favorite highlights from the Epcot Food & Wine Festival 2020.

The Olde Pink House

For me, The Olde Pink House is a must visit when in Savannah.

Do yourself a favor and order the fried chicken, even if it's as a side for the whole table to share. It's smack yo mamma good!

After dinner, I love to venture down to Arches Bar which feels like an underground basement. Stone walls, candle light, craft cocktails & swanky live music...

you're gonna love it.

The Collins Quarter

Probably my favorite place to brunch in Savannah!

Collins Quarters did not disappoint. We had an amazing experience.

The staff was personable and friendly, the food was excellence and the ambiance was Savannah perfection.

All of our dishes were perfectly prepared, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious.

The Grey

What a fun experience!

This retro Greyhound station turned fine dining restaurant was a lot of fun. Most of that was due in part to our amazing server, Jared. He took impeccable care of us, described the dishes in the menu perfectly, and delivered everything to the table with a charismatic charm.

The grouper and beef tongue were highlights of our meal.

Cotton & Rye

We loved Cotton & Rye and will definitely be back!

Our server, Asia, really made our experience a memorable one. Her smile and charm lit up the whole room, and she made us feel like family.
I came in absolutely starving so she quickly ran over with freshly baked bread and salted butter to keep me from "fallin' out."  Thank you, friend!
I was faint.

Everything we ordered was delicious, from the sausage and cheese board to the buttermilk chocolate pie. We will definitely be back to try that delicious smelling fried chicken!

The Fitzroy

The Ftizroy is a super cool gastropub that specializes in a fabulous brunch!

Whether you need to detox with avocado toast & veggies, or wallow around in chicken schnitzel, ricotta hotcakes, or their award winning Aussie burger, you're sure to leave satisfied.

Also, the shakshouka is amaze balls!

Go get ya some!

Elizabeth on 37th

If you're looking for a way to experience true southern charm, make reservations at Elizabeth on 37th.

We called ahead and requested the chefs tasting menu, and I have to be honest. I've never seen portions on a tasting menu so large! They were all delicious, though!

Our server was very friendly, the ambiance was perfect, and the food was delicious southern cuisine at its finest.

Busboys and Poets

What a cute, fun place to eat!

The pizzas were delicious, and we absolutely devoured the Brussels sprouts.

Everything on the menu sounded wonderful, the wine list was nice, and the staff was very friendly.

We didn't get a chance to enjoy open mic night, but we did browse all of the books.

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

What an incredible dining experience! We loved everything about this meal.

The wine list was phenomenal, so we had our favorite Silver Oak.

The staff was very friendly. We all shared many laughs throughout the night.

And the food... holy moly, the food was amazing! From the stone crab and lobster topped filet, to the giant prawns & key lime pie. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared.

We will definitely be back to Joe's!

Le Diplomate

Highly recommend!

French food is my favorite and LeDiplomate did not disappoint. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious.

As Katie Lee would say, there was "no carb left behind!" We ate allllllllll the yummy bread.
More carbs please!

The seafood tower was the star of the show, though. Everything on it was incredible and fresh. We loved it!

*It was cold outside, so our patio table had a heat lamp over it, which caused the lovely pink hugh in my photos.

Old Ebbitt Grill

We enjoyed the Old Ebbitt Grill so much that we ate here twice during our trip.

The bartenders and wait staff were all very polite.

All of the food was delicious. From the oysters and salads, to soups and crab cakes.

Everything was yummy!

Ruth's Chris

It's hard to go wrong with Ruth's Chris, and this was no exception. I had my usual petite filet medium rare with a blue cheese crust. Perfection. Big Strong Handsome usually tops his with a lobster tail.

As a very special treat, because our son was with us, we ordered the lobster mac-n-cheese as one of our sides. Y'all. I could have rolled around in it. It was what I imagine heaven will be like. I ate an embarrassing amount of it and enjoyed every last bite. Even after dinner when I realized how stuffed I was, I looked at my husband and said, "it was totally worth it."  If you're going to be bad... make it count. Get the lobster mac-n-cheese. Thank me later.
